Nordic Ukraine Advocacy Summit 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark

The Nordic Ukraine Advocacy Summit (NUAS) 2026 is an independent, high-level forum bringing together Nordic and Ukrainian civil society organizations, the Ukrainian diaspora, decision-makers, and leading public voices to strengthen coordinated support for Ukraine and Nordic security. Now in its fourth edition, NUAS reflects growing regional demand for a structured, long-term Nordic–Ukraine partnership.

Theme (2026): A durable peace through democratic resilience: The Nordic–Ukraine partnership at scale

Across 10–11 May 2026 in Copenhagen, NUAS focuses on how democratic resilience—strong institutions, civic participation, free media, and societal cohesion—can underpin a just and durable peace. The summit explores how the Nordic–Ukraine partnership can move from ad hoc cooperation to a scaled, coordinated system linking civil society, independent media, cultural actors, diaspora networks, and policymakers.

The program addresses:

  • Nordic and Ukrainian approaches to democratic resiliencies wartime and beyond
  • Hybrid threats, disinformation, and societal security
  • Pathways toward a just peace and sustainable reconstruction
  • Practical mechanisms for coordinated advocacy and joint Nordic–Ukraine initiatives

NUAS is designed for organizations and individuals working on Ukraine advocacy, democracy and human rights, security and resilience, culture and education, and policy engagement. Participants can expect high-level discussions, targeted networking, and concrete collaboration opportunities that strengthen joint priorities for 2026–2027.

For those who would like to join via online, the streaming link available below:

The program of the Summit is designed as a two-day format, moving the discussion from collaboration to coordination. This collaborative format reflects the Summit's core purpose towards a more connected and mutually supportive advocacy community, societal resilience and self-organised civil society initiatives.
