How many Ukrainian children are there in Sweden?

As of May 7th according to the Swedish Migration office 36 000 have applied for protection seeking. 

The Ukrainian Embassy in Sweden have rough estimation there are 20000 Ukrainian children in Sweden.

By donating to this initiative you provide direct  support to:

• Ukrainian children and their moms
• Ukrainian culture
• Ukrainian publishing houses

95% of funds will be spend on book purchasing

5% operational costs

Where are you going to buy books?

We have established a direct contacts with more than 15 publishing houses in Ukraine like - Vivat, The Old Lion, Sova, Ranok and others

What kind of books you are going to purchase?
For what age?

Books for 0-16 year olds, including:

Textbooks, workbooks, colouring books, story books with steackers, activity books, riddle books

How you will distribute those books?

We have several initiatives of direct support for newcomers in Stockholm, such as "Palianytsia" and

"Mriya" . Also we are in touch with other Ukraine-related organizations all over Sweden. We will donate books to Swedish municipal libraries.
